On 24th January 2026, The Girl Child Day was celebrated in GMSSS, Dadu Majra Colony where Dr. Gaurav Gaur of Department of Social Welfare, Punjab University, Chd and Ms. Ishita of the recognised foundation 'Aashwast' motivated the four EWS meritorious girl students of the institution of class 9th - Purva, Akanksha, Suhana and Anshika - by giving them bicycles. A renowned NGO 'DARPAN' has adopted the school.
